2024 Recap: ACRE SoCal Celebrates a Year of Giving, Growth, and Industry Leadership

Activities included $30,000 in donations supporting three non-profit organizations

ACRE SoCal proudly announces a year of remarkable achievements in 2024 under the leadership of President Roxanne “Roxy” Klein.  Klein, who also serves as VP of Retail Leasing and Sales at Progressive Real Estate Partners, guided the organization in its mission to foster networking, learning, and collaboration in the retail commercial real estate industry. Throughout 2024 ACRE SoCal successfully demonstrated its commitment to both community impact and professional development.

This year ACRE SoCal donated $30,000 to support three nonprofit organizations, contributing $10,000 each to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Orange County Animal Allies, and Reaching Beyond Ourselves’ Don’t Can’t Campaign. These donations reflect ACRE’s dedication to giving back to causes that resonate deeply with its members and the broader community.

In addition to its philanthropic efforts, ACRE SoCal hosted nine dynamic events throughout 2024, creating unparalleled opportunities for networking and learning. Highlights included the Retail Tenant Expo, Inland Empire City Showcase, Big Box Expo, 100 Tenants in 60 Minutes, Experiential Retail, ACRE Shaker, QSR Round Up, Developer and Investor Expo, and a festive holiday party. Each event brought together top professionals to share insights and foster connections that drive the retail commercial real estate industry forward.

ACRE So Cal also celebrated the life and legacy of Carson Faris, naming him the 2024 ACRE Hall of Fame recipient. Faris, who passed away on September 21, 2024, was a beloved husband, father of two daughters, and a passionate entrepreneur whose contributions to the real estate industry left a lasting impact. His dedication and enthusiasm continue to inspire ACRE members and the broader community.

Reflecting on the year, Roxanne Klein shared, “It has been an incredible honor to serve as the 2024 President of ACRE SoCal. This organization stands as a testament to the power of community, collaboration, and shared learning in the retail commercial real estate industry. I am proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited to see ACRE SoCal continue to thrive in the years ahead.”

As a nonprofit organization, ACRE SoCal remains dedicated to hosting innovative events, meaningful connections, and opportunities to make a difference in the community.
